joy

This June 2025, Zion House Foundation partnered with The Samaritan’s Purse in Yaoundé to bless 193 children—aged 2 to 14—with uplifting gifts and empowering support through the love of God.

Children received essential donation packages filled with practical items, followed by six weeks of intensive empowerment training. This initiative aimed to equip them with valuable life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging. To conclude this transformative journey, each child was gifted a Bible, serving as a spiritual companion and reminder of the love of God and hope in our lord Jesus.

This outreach highlights our commitment to holistic care—meeting both material and spiritual needs—and reflects the power of partnership and empathy in changing young lives.

A Gift of Love and Faith

Each child received essential items and a message of care—emphasizing that they are not forgotten, but cherished. The Samaritan’s Purse partnership continues a legacy of seasonal generosity and sharing the gospel of salvation.

Beyond Material Aid: Empowerment Training

Following the donations, the children participated in a 6-week empowerment training program. This initiative provided skills, knowledge, and spiritual grounding to help them confidently engage to evangelism among their peers.

A Spiritual Closing: Handing Over Bibles

At the conclusion of their training, all participants were gifted certificates of course completion and Bibles, reinforcing spiritual growth and offering a message of the Love of God that will stay with them.
